Miles Christensen PTPhysical Therapist
A native of Milford, Kansas. Miles went to Washburn University to receive his B.A in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology in 2012 where he also played collegiate golf. He went to Wichita State University to complete is Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Miles looks forward to serving the members of the community that he was born and raised in. He enjoys working with all patient types but his passion is outpatient orthopedics. Miles is also a member of the Kansas Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical Therapy Association.
Ethan Koochel PT, DPT, ATCDoctor of Physical Therapy
Ethan grew up and attended High School in Great Bend, KS. From there he completed his undergraduate work at Kansas State University in 2013, where he earned a degree in Athletic Training with minors in Kinesiology and Leadership. He then continued his education at The University of Kansas Medical Center, where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Ethan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical Therapy Association. Throughout his clinical practice, Ethan has gained experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports rehab, inpatient rehab, and neuro rehab, particularly in works with Parkinson’s and the LSVT program. He is looking to increase his clinical skills through multiple continuing education courses, especially in manual therapy.
Luke Henry PT, DPT, Cert. MDTDirector, Doctor of Physical Therapy
A native of Clay Center, Kansas, Luke received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University in 1999. He received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001 from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Luke has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics settings since 2001 with a special interest in spinal rehabilitation. He completed his Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) for treatment of spinal disorders through the McKenzie Institute International in 2008. Luke received his clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas in 2009. Luke is a member of the American Physical therapy Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association and the McKenzie Institute International. Luke joined the Mathis Physical Therapy team in 2009.
Orgene DesCoteaux CPTAPhysical Therapist Assistant
Orgene is originally from Clifton, Kansas. He received his BS in Exercise Sciences in 1992 from Kansas State University. He received his Associate of Applied Science Degree to become a Physical Therapy Assistant from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1999. Since obtaining licensure to be a Physical Therapy Assistant, Orgene has gained extensive experience in variety of Physical Therapy Settings which include private outpatient practices, inpatient/outpatient hospital units, home health, and skilled nursing facilities. Orgene joined Mathis Rehab Centers in April 2012. Orgene is a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner.
