Director of Pelvic Rehabilitation, Doctor of Physical Therapy
A native of suburban Washington D.C., Lora attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in 2007. Lora earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2009.
Lora joined the Mathis Rehab team in 2014 working in the Emporia location for 6 years. Lora joined the Manhattan/Junction City team to provide a specialty program of pelvic floor rehabilitation. In the orthopedic setting, her passion led her to build a strong manual therapy and therapeutic neuroscience education approach to treating musculoskeletal pain with a special interest in chronic pain, spine and pelvic dysfunction. She is passionate about a holistic and individualized mind-body focus to successfully reaching each patient’s goals. Lora has completed extensive study with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute providing internal and external assessment of the pelvic floor treating bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction.
She has completed her Certified Spinal Manual Certification (CSMT) through the International Spine and Pain Institute in September 2017. Lora earned her Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Certification (CMTPT) in October 2016, which has allowed her to practice dry needling. Lora is also certified in ASTYM treatment, a unique intervention designed for recovery and regeneration of soft tissue to improve dysfunction. Outside of work, Lora enjoys remaining active with her family with running and cycling, baking, reading and traveling.
